Pressure vessels

Pressure vessels are commonly used in industrial facilities, e.g. in petrochemical industry, and are crucial to the operation of the facility. The contents of such vessels can also be highly flammable or hazardous. Structural integrity of such vessels is hence vital from financial, safety, and environmental points of view.
SHM NEXT's wireless sensor nodes (UniQ) can be utilized for in-service quantitative assessment of pressure vessels and identification of different types of defects, e.g. corrosion and cracking. In a dedicated on-line dashboard, the location of all defects is visualized automatically.
